Dr Muhammad Zeeshan Khan is Beacon, Automation, and Informatics Pharmacist in Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is responsible for the validation and building of chemo protocols in EHRs along with other technologies integration, and training of nurses, pharmacy technicians and pharmacists. Dr. Khan is Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist and Board-Certified Infectious Disease Pharmacist
Dr Khan received his PharmD from University of Karachi, Pakistan in 2011. He completed his ‘trainee pharmacist’ requirement in Aga Khan University Hospital, Pakistan, where he worked for 3 years in the Drug and Poison Information Center. He earned his MSc Degree in Clinical Pharmacy from RAKMHSU in 2017. During his practice as Clinical Pharmacist, he had worked on different projects to optimize drug therapy, antibiotic stewardship program, training of student and graduates, evaluation of medication usage, and nurses’ education, etc. He also served as member of medication safety committee and as secretary of antibiotics stewardship committee in his practice. He has presented nationally and internationally in different conferences and some research publications.
